It's only by finding the truth through your feelings that will you heal all your pain.
Some of the self-help ‘love yourself’ so-called spiritual approaches to life focus on one trying to ‘raise their vibration’ by using ones mind to rise above ones negative and so lower bad feelings. Positive thinking, and all that goes with it, is the same, but it all results in only furthering your bad feeling denial. Bad feelings might be lower, but that doesn’t mean they are not as important as higher good feelings, if you’re feeling them. If you’re feeling them, that is you feeling them, so why deny yourself. Being true to yourself, truly expressing all your feelings whilst longing to uncover the truth of them, is as spiritual as you can possibly be, and that means: being true to ALL your feelings. And being true to your feelings means expressing every one of them as they come up, all good and bad feelings, all so you’re continually bringing more of yourself into Creation, so more of you — your personality — is being expressed in the universe. All the existing religions and spiritual systems are bad feeling avoidance systems, so will only serve to help you further deny yourself. They might sound like they are helping you evolve your soul; they might encourage endless prayer and meditation so you can ‘find God’ or ‘inner peace’, but what you won’t find, is yourself. You’ll only find yourself, the real inner and true person you are, through your feelings. And as you have both good and bad feelings, then your bad feelings need to be focused on equally, and if not more so, because you’re so used to denying them, to bring yourself as a full person out. We fear our bad feelings like we fear death, even believing they will lead to our death, and yet we die deaths of bad feeling denial. |
Some people also want to live at-one with God, they feel they’d like to have God’s love in their lives, or even possibly feel they do, and they want to live God’s will. However, if you’re denying any part of yourself, just one bad feeling, then there’s no way you can ever life true to God, because you’re not living true to yourself. By honouring, accepting and expressing ALL of yourself, so all you feel, and leaving your mind and its beliefs to take care of themselves, you will be naturally living God’s will even if you don’t believe in God. You’ll naturally be living true to God as you’ll be living true to yourself.
The true spiritual adventure that awaits the truth seeking soul is not to scale the highest mountain, not to go within finding bliss and cosmic enlightenment, not giving oneself to Jesus and upholding the tenets of the Faith. It is to simply stop denying all your bad feelings and instead welcome them like your best friend. Speak about them to a friend, and seek the truth of them. And I guarantee if you do this, then you’ll be embarking on a feeling-journey of true self-discovery, and one that will take you into aspects of yourself you have no idea exists. And as the truth comes to you through your ongoing feeling acceptance and expression of them, so you will be evolving your soul taking the steps along your true spiritual feeling-path. The way to the truth, the way to your true self, and the true way to God, is ONLY through your feelings, and NOT with your mind. The more your mind has anything to do with it, the more you’ll keep on denying your bad feelings. It is vital in expressing your feelings to long for their truth,
if it is the truth of your feelings you are seeking.
Otherwise, you can vent and express your feelings and emotions all day long,
but will only be letting off a little steam, getting perhaps a little relief,
but never going deeper into yourself to uncover the hidden causes of what really is making you feel bad.
